Out with the old and in with the new. This is a constant theme in life, and especially, the restaurant world. The newest Huntington hotspot is Vitae (pronounced VEE-TAY), located in the famous spot where Abel Conklin’s reigned for many years over the Huntington scene (in a historic building dating back to 1841). The name Vitae means life, and it is with this in mind that Vitae opens its doors to welcome in Spring and the hungry masses coming out of their winter hibernation.
With Nassau County under its domination (yeah Merrick and Plainview, we’re talking about you), La Piazza has now set its crosshairs on Suffolk County with the newest of its locations, located in Melville. We’ve been dining at La Piazza since the early 1990’s and still frequent both original locations with a satisfied appetite every time.
Located in Water Mill, Muse Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge is a great dining establishment. We’re lucky to have Chef Matthew Guiffrida show us a perfect fall/winter offering, with his Butternut Experience.
