YOLO Yogurt in Roslyn is slower than normal due to the weather conditions, so this is your time to pounce. In the summer months we often have to wait on long lines to pay while our yogurt melts, but this time of year, that is not an issue.
Being that it’s the summertime, we’ve covered a lot of dessert spots, and more specifically, frozen yogurt spots. Swirlz World is new to the area, having just opened their doors within the past six weeks. This is a self-serve yogurt hotspot and one thing that they have that most others don’t is a huge selection of pick-your-own candy.

Catch The Wave opened up in 2011; an independent shop riding the surf in an ocean filled with corporate juggernauts.
moolala in Merrick led the self-serve frozen yogurt movement on the South Shore when it opened in 2010. We’re seeing a lot of competitors opening up in the immediate area lately, but this locally owned and private company is holding its own in the frozen yogurt wars that are heating up by the day and involve some national heavy hitters.
