We’ll admit that we walked into Xaga Sushi in Merrick a bit skeptical. The restaurant is relatively new and our only source of information who we know that went there was very unimpressed with their experience at the restaurant. Happily, we can report that Xaga fared better for us this time around than for our good friend.
If you’re familiar with Merrick, you’ll know that not unlike every other town on Long Island, there are a plethora of Japanese and sushi restaurants. Having opened their doors to the raw-seafood consuming public, Merrick Sushi & Tea is filling a niche that not many other restaurants are able to.
