Hotel Indigo has been featured on our site before. We’ve taken a look at their Signature Drink, The Long Island Lighthouse and took a look at Bistro 72, their in-house restaurant. This time, we’re turning our attention towards a wonderful program that they’re running; Indigo Uncorked.

We spent some time recently at Bistro 72, located within the Hotel Indigo out in Riverhead. We spent a full night taking in the sounds of the live music, the bartenders at the bar and the food coming out of the kitchen. This first video features their signature drink, The Long Island Lighthouse.

Years ago, a Best Western sat off of exit 72 of the LIE, just next to Tanger Outlets. It wasn’t anything much to look at. It did its job; catering to those looking for a quick getaway to the entryway of the north fork, or a respite between shopping marathons. With time, the tide has changed and the new owners have not only Manhattan-ized the hotel (read: trendy), they’ve also installed Bistro 72, serving up fantastic drinks and cuisine.
