Michael Turner and Brian Shuren oversee all aspects of the operation at Bistro 25, a casual and refined bistro located in Sayville, on Long Island’s south shore. With an interior on the smaller side, the bistro packs as much flavor and creativeness into its dishes as they do diners on any weekend night. We hit them up on a quiet weekday at lunchtime to take in the vibe and capture the essence of their culinary magic.
Award winning, romantic, adventurous and revered are all ways that we can describe Restaurant Mirabelle, located inside the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. Chef Guy Reuge has been the driving force behind Restaurant Mirabelle over the past years and this French cuisine juggernaut is always a formidable contender for Long Island’s best restaurant. We stopped by the restaurant for a quick photo shoot to capture what so many love.
With sister French restaurants across the island (Aperitif, Brasserie Persil and Sage Bistro), this is their only location on the north shore, in Woodbury. The restaurant itself is high-end and gorgeous, catering to the local upscale community. It’s because of our positive track record with their other locations that we stopped in to snap a few photos for our readers to peek behind the doors and see what is inside.
Who doesn’t love a little French bistro every now and then? We know that we do, and short of flying all the way to France, La P’tite Framboise (or, the Little Raspberry) is fulfilling all of our needs. Located on wonderful Main Street in the heart of Port Washington, stepping inside is akin to a charming little bistro in Paris.
