If we were asked what restaurant on Long Island closely resembled any cool restaurant in Brooklyn, we’d point them towards Barrique Kitchen and Wine Bar in the heart of Babylon Village. Rustic, with its bare wood beams on the ceiling, exposed brick and the familiar aged wood all around, Barrique opened in 2009 (by the same owners as the Argyle Grill & Tavern across the street) and has been a favorite spot on the south shore since.
