Long Island Music Scene: Action Bronson at The Paramount in Huntington
Action Bronson made quite the impression last night to the throngs of faithful followers during his show at The Paramount in Huntington. Bronson, a chef and a proud native of Flushing, Queens brought his energetic show and feats of superhuman rhymes to his almost-home base, which is located just a few miles to the west. The hometown crowd added fuel to his fire and the scene was electric.
Performing songs off of his past albums and his most recent, Mr. Wonderful (his first major label release – with Vice Records), Action lived up to his name and the hype as he rattled off an hour-long show. At one point, he made his way through the audience, up into the seats and back again, all without missing a beat.
In case you missed it, Action will be touring throughout the country and the world this year and if you want to check out some of his recent food related videos from Vice.com, you do that by clicking here. The videos show the man behind the persona (they’re the same person) and are highly entertaining. That is, after all, how we were introduced to Action Bronson as well. We’re glad we found him.
