The space that used to be Deli on Rye on Willis Avenue was not much to look at. It had been there for a very long time and when it closed, Prime Burgers stepped in. The food, a complete departure from the old deli may have changed, but the atmosphere looks quite the same.

You won’t find any counter stools at this new burger joint but tables and booths await. Hopping on the latest food trend across America; burgers, Prime Burgers is serving just that. A blend of three different prime cuts of meat in each patty, the burgers are moist and creative. Steam cooked on the grill, they retain their moisture when they make it onto the plate.

Notable favorites from their menu are the Prime Burger (bacon, avocado mousse – freshly made daily, gruyere cheese, prime sauce, lettuce, roasted tomatoes and onion) and the A.M. Burger (sunny side up egg, bacon, hollandaise sauce and chives). Throw in some sweet potato fries and a pickle and you’re good to go. If neither of these burger concoctions sound good to you, you can pick from any of their roughly 13 burgers, or build your own.
