In Photos: J. Michaels Tuscan Steakhouse in Northport
A newcomer to the Northport dining scene back in 2011, J. Michaels Tuscan Steakhouse is located a short drive away from Main Street and the waterfront restaurants that are within walking range to that area. What feels like an old house that has been revamped, J. Michaels is serving up creative italian fare.

Along with Restaurant Hunter on FiOS1 Long Island, we visited J. Michael’s to get the history of the restauarant and to meet the man behind the cuisine, Chef Vincent Michaels. Along with Chef Ron Gelish, they put together a few dishes for us to photograph.

The restaurant, especially the upstairs dining area, is romantic and intimate when the sun goes down. There are dining areas on both levels, but if you have a choice, we would recommend upstairs as it is away from the bar area located on the ground floor.

too bad the food they serve doesnt look like the pictures they took for u
very very expensive and definitely not worth the money
