Blue Moon in Rockville Centre

Blue Moon in Rockville Centre

1937 was a big year. The Hindenburg Disaster occurred, Of Mice and Men was published and Blue Moon Pizzeria was established. If we were to transport ourselves back in time to this coal-fired pizzeria, we’re pretty sure that not much would be different and the pies would be just as tasty.

Coal fired pizza is so unique in this day and age that is now dominated by a gas-fired oven. Just tasting a coal fired pie is a great experience. That high heat leaves a slightly burnt, or crusty crust and the quick cooking time makes for an even quicker delivery to those hungry mouths, with each pie starting from scratch.

Although Blue Moon is mostly known for their pizza, they also have a full menu available to diners, filled with panini’s, meatballs, pastas and more. We can’t think of a more nostalgic way to spend our night in Rockville Centre.
