When we first met Chef Noah Schwartz he was at the helm of Seafood Barge in Southold way back in 2007(ish). Not too long after our first meeting at that location, they closed up shop and Noah decided to head out on his own. A few miles away in Greenport, the old Frisky Oyster bar location was opening up, so due to the collision of events, Noah decided to open up Noah’s in the heart of Greenport, on Front Street.
The Oar Seafood Grille has been a Patchogue favorite for (almost) the last 30 years. Waterfront on the Patchogue River and with outdoor dining, all one has to do is enter the restaurant and look up at the ceiling to know that they are about to encounter some wonderful seafood. Oars and paddles line the restaurant and make you just want to jump into a boat and start paddling.
The Riverhead Project in Riverhead is unique for the area. At the entry point to the north fork, it’s proving to be not only one of the most popular spots, but it is also one of the most revered for its unique space, excellent cuisine and busy lounge area.
Sunday Brunch has always been one of our favorite meals. We’re constantly on the lookout for brunch spots that we feel confident enough to share with our readers and our friends. With that in mind, we stopped by Thyme in Roslyn, overlooking Roslyn Pond, to enjoy their decor and their cuisine.

Offering a restaurant / bar atmosphere with a menu focused on providing some of the freshest seafood available, there are plenty of options here for diners to revel in.
When Freeport, along with the rest of the island, was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy, the damage caused to Hudson & McCoy was enough to set into motion a chain of events that led to Hudson & McCoy to be evicted and a new tenant to come to the table. Enter Hudson’s on the Mile.
PRIME American Kitchen and Bar in Huntington is one of those restaurants on Long Island that not only has that “wow” factor, but it also lives up to the hype with their wonderful cuisine served with a side of an even better view.
Once in a while a restaurant so completely satisfies you that you’re left wondering why you haven’t gone there before and experienced all that it had to offer. LIMANI in Roslyn is just that restaurant, but high accolades and an impressive experience come at a cost; and that cost is quite steep.
One of the best Lobster Rolls that we have experienced on Long Island belongs to a worthy establishment in East Hampton; Bostwick’s Chowder House. It’s a gem on the South Fork and in these summer months, nothing is better than sitting outside in the sun and consuming one of the best around.
