That all changed last Friday when Hoptron Brewtique threw open its doors on West Main Street in Patchogue. Beer lovers of Long Island – you’ve just been served.
The Greene Turtle, a Maryland based sports bar and restaurant that has been expanding with franchises across the country is setting its sights on Long Island with a soon-to-open spot on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square. This spot is the location of the old Boulder Creek and it will be re-branded to meet the specifics of The Greene Turtle.
Shake Shack, a virtual institution across New York City and most recently expanding across the country is setting its sights on Long Island with their new location, opening on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the new Gallery at Westbury Plaza shopping center located in Garden City.
From the owners of The Good Life in Massapequa Park and The Phoenix in Seaford will be the new Jam, also located in Massapequa Park. Coming soon, filling the spot of the old Town Florist, Jam is promising to be a breakfast spot that will be open daily form 6am – 3pm for those cravings that come early in the morning and last until the early afternoon. If this is anything like their other two spots, this 40-seater will be one to look out for.
