Sunday Brunch on Long Island at Thyme in Roslyn
Sunday Brunch has always been one of our favorite meals. We’re constantly on the lookout for brunch spots that we feel confident enough to share with our readers and our friends. With that in mind, we stopped by Thyme in Roslyn, overlooking Roslyn Pond, to enjoy their decor and their cuisine.
For $18 at the time of this piece, Thyme offers a lot for brunch. Their menu includes a choice of Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Bellini, Orange or Grapefruit juice along with your meal, so besides the great cuisine, diners get to enjoy a wonderful drink for the reasonable price.
On our visit we mixed a little bit of brunch and lunch together; ordering both a farm fresh omelette (brunch) and a crab cake sandwich (lunch). Other fine options include Thyme Benedict; Poached Eggs on Potato Cake with Virginia Ham, Grilled Tomato & Hollandaise as well as Challah French Toast.
With Roslyn Pond in the back of the restaurant, there is a small dining area on the second floor that overlooks the pond. This is a great spot to either enjoy the daylight view during brunch or a romantic al fresco dinner. Inside or outside, Thyme is a top notch location that everyone should visit – at least once.
