If you’ve lived on Long Island for long enough or you have visited Boca Raton, Florida, then there’s a strong possibility that you have stopped into a Ben’s Kosher Deli for a quick bite. Ben’s has been a fixture within our community for quite some time. In the immediate area, there’s a location in Woodbury as well as this location that we visited here in Carle Place. It’s a haven for matzo ball soup, brisket, knish’s and of course, hot dogs.

Just before they opened their doors for their busy lunchtime crowd, we took a quick tour of Ben’s to photograph and share. There’s space for their take-out only area, a counter for a quick bite or their full dining room where you can be waited on, no matter the size of your party. Since they hadn’t yet opened up shop for the day we were limited in our scope of photographs, but we urge you to stop by and try out their matzo ball soup and a brisket sandwich. It’s the perfect fall lunch.
