In Photos: Horace & Sylvia’s Publick House in Babylon
Chef Brian Fugit is now at the helm of Horace & Sylvia’s in Babylon, an establishment that boasts a wonderful bar scene and great food as well. With 18 beers on tap (and local offerings such as Blue Point, etc.) they’ve recently been delving into a once per month “Beer Dinner” to pair up some cuisine with tasty brew.

Babylon is becoming quite the hub for dining on the south shore. New restaurants are popping up, almost weekly, and the old standbys have been placed on notice that they’d better perform to keep up and in business. We don’t have to worry about Horace & Sylvia’s though, they’re pumping out quality food just as they have for years. We stepped into their kitchen recently to photograph some of their more popular dishes coming off the line.
