In Photos: Downtown Burger at Five Points Cafe in Sayville
Sayville is a great area with a Main Street that really throws us back in time. Surrounded by all of the great restaurants and shops lining the street is the relative newcomer, Downtown Burger at Five Points Cafe. Since February, 2011, Downtown Burger has proven to be the go-to spot for those carnivorous cravings.

A great outdoor dining space that is buffeted by trees to block out the street noise, you can dine outside in this warm weather or you can head inside for a little bit of a cooler experience. The bar area has some local favorites and Blue Point is on tap in a few varieties.

They proclaim (literally on their backs) to have the “Best Buns in Town” so when you’re there get one of their specialty burgers. The Downtown Burger, with three types of cheese, bacon, onion straws and sauce or the Bacon Cheeseburger (pictured, below) seem to light a fire in customers’ bellies.

Downtown Burger also has live music and special events, so if you’re in town for the weekend, you can enjoy a show with your meal.

These burgers look great. Excellent pictures. Kind of a hike for a city dweller, but they do look good. The remind me of Dumont burger in BK http://gorealto.com/blog/?p=278. Solid review.
